Garden of Diana and Larry Janse

[Previous Page | Index | Next Page]

Charlotte is an Austin rose, a daughter of the classic yellow Austin, Graham Thomas. Diana and Larry grow a number of Austin roses. Although the Austins have a reputation of being lax shrubs, the Janse's roses are well behaved uprights. Diana says the key to choosing Austins is to read David Austin's books and the catalog carefully. "Austin tells the truth about his roses", and that makes it easier to pick the right characteristics for your garden.
