Common garden sage (a favorite of bees and turkeys), hardy geraniums, white valerian (good in flower arrangements with roses), Meg rose on the fence, Blush Noisette rose below the plum. Gertrude Jeykll on the fence behind the tree, and Old Blush China rose in the background on the left
